Since the Industrial Revolution, our Earth, which began to warm, has already experienced a temperature increase of 1 degree, and it is rapidly continuing to warm. Studies indicate that without restrictions on industrial and individual carbon emissions, by the year 2040, the temperature change will reach an irreversible point in climate change, namely a 1.5-degree increase.
In a scenario expected to be observed by the year 2100 due to the ongoing rise in temperature, the increase is projected to be 3 degrees.
Plants, animals, and especially migratory species are unable to adapt to this temperature change, leading to local extinction. Coral reefs, which play a crucial role in marine ecosystems, are dying due to the warming of the seas, replacing their vibrant colors with a stark white appearance.
The extinction of marine life would signify the end of life for the human race. To prevent the temperature from reaching 1.5 degrees, we can assess our carbon footprint today and continue our lives with a green mindset, reducing our emissions.
We all need to lead more sustainable lives and live more harmoniously with nature.
